Newspaper was first published in the England during reign of Queen Elizabeth. The Indian Gazette which was the first newspaper of Indo-Bangladesh was published in 1974. The Samachar Darpan was the first Bengali Newspaper. The Christian missionaries of Srerampure published it. Now Those days are gone by. Man has Invented printing machine. Thousand of newspaper are being printed daily all over the world.
There are many kinds of newspaper . they are dailies, biweeklies, weeklies,monthlies and even quarterlies. The Dailies contains news and views about the daily affairs of the world. There are some other newspapers which are known as periodicals and magazines. They contain literary articles.
There are many English and Bengali dailies in our country. The Bengali dailies are -the Prothom Alo, The Jugantor, The Somokal, The Banagladesh Protidin.The kaler kontho etc.The English daily are- The Daily Star,The Independence , The New Age, The Daily Sun,The daily new nation, The Daily Observer etc.
Global Distance has been removed ; the world has become a smaller as like a village.One part of the world has been linked up with others parts through the Newspaper. News[paper is great useful things to us. It serves the purpose of people of different sections.We get all sort information in the newspaper .We know through them what is going on in the world around us. They give us news about Politics, Economics,Culture,Literature,Games, and sports of the world. Newspaper are very useful to us. Without a newspaper we can't think of our daily life.
